About Doc's Roofing and Repairs Ltd.
Honest, quality roofing on Southern Vancouver Island
We are a local roofing company serving Greater Victoria and Southern Vancouver Island. Our work centres on complete roof removal and reinstallation, and on repairs that solve the real problem rather than the symptom.
We believe homeowners deserve straight answers: a written estimate before work begins, clear warranty terms, photographs of what we find, and the ability to follow your project online from permitting to final inspection. This page explains who we are, why we do what we do, and what you can expect from us on every job.
How we work
- A free, written estimate that sets out materials, scope and warranty before any work begins.
- Photographs of what we find, so you can see the problem for yourself.
- A crew that protects your property and cleans up at the end of every day.
- An online account where you can follow your project and keep your documents.
Roofs built for the coast
Vancouver Island roofs face long, wet winters, wind-driven rain and moss. We pay as much attention to underlayment, flashing and ventilation as to the roofing you can see, because those hidden layers decide how long a roof lasts here.
Our core values
Professional
We work as if a building inspector were watching every step. No job starts until our equipment has been checked, a first aid kit is on site, and you are comfortable with the plan for the day.
Our crew is courteous and respectful of you, your family, your neighbours, your property and the wildlife around it. There is no smoking, no foul language and no horseplay on our job sites. We treat every site with care, because your home is your sanctuary.
Safe and clean
We keep every work site clean and safe. Roofing nails and debris need special care to collect and dispose of properly, so we sweep the site with a magnetic sweeper throughout the job and again at the end; a stray nail can puncture a tire or a shoe. Children and pets are kept well away from the work area, and our Google reviews speak to the care we take in cleaning up.
